Pottery Classes

Adult Fall 2024 class registration is opening soon!
Registration will be open Friday, July 26 at 12:00 PM.

The next 10 week classes start:
September 9 to November 11 (Mondays)
September 10 to November 12(Tuesdays)
September 11 to November 13 (Wednesdays).
Registration typically opens up 30 days prior to the next session starting.

We offer 4 sessions per year on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
10 students per class.
Occasionally we will offer Mondays as well.
Summer (8 weeks)
Fall, Winter, and Spring (10 weeks)

Class meets 2.5 hours per week from 6:30-9:00 PM

CLASS CONTENT:  Potters wheel; Surface Decoration (glaze and others).

$206 – Student Fees Fall, Winter, and Spring 10 Week Session
$175 – Student Fees Summer 8 Week Session
$20 for additional bag of clay if needed

  • At this time we are not offering Kids Classes. There are no plans for Kids Classes in 2024.

Winter 2025 Adult Classes

  • This is tentative and subject to change:
    Mondays – to be determined
    Tuesdays – Starts January 7, Ends March 11
    Wednesdays – Starts January 8, Ends March 12

Spring 2025 Adult Classes

  • This is tentative and subject to change:
    Mondays – to be determined
    Tuesdays – Starts April 1, Ends May 20
    Wednesdays – Starts April 2, Ends May 21

Summer 2025 Adult Classes

  • This is tentative and subject to change:
    Mondays – to be determined
    Tuesdays – Starts June 10, Ends July 29
    Wednesdays – Starts June 11, Ends July 30

Toledo Potters’ Guild (and the other guilds within the Artist Village at Toledo Botanical Garden) are independent organizations. It has come to the attention of the Toledo Potters’ Guild (TPG), that the operation of pacemakers may be negatively impacted by the motors in the electric pottery wheels. If you currently have a pacemaker, please check with your physician regarding your use of the pottery wheel during classed at TPG. TPG cannot be held responsible for your failing to take acceptable precautions to ensure the proper operation of your pacemaker.
